Retail Complex at NE Corner of Jefferson/Taylor Apparently Dead

A reader writes:

Looks like the South Loop retail complex at Jefferson/Taylor that had previously received approval to break ground will not be coming to fruition. For sale signs just popped up on the existing structure late last week.

As a reminder, we posted about this potential development back in 2016 but it hasn't had any movement - clearly.
