City of Chicago Ask Judge to Let Construction of Lucas Museum Move Forward

We're no legal wizard, but this seems like a bold (and probably unrealistic) move by the city of Chicago (via Chicago Tribune):

The city of Chicago is asking a judge to lift an order barring "Star Wars" creator George Lucas from starting construction on a $400 million museum along Chicago's lakefront while litigation plays out. 

The filing argues that letting the suit move ahead doesn't mean museum opponents will eventually prevail. 

It says leaving an injunction in place prohibiting construction "now puts the entire project at risk" because the museum "may choose to leave Chicago and relocate to another city." It argues that would deprive Chicago of major economic benefits.
