With that comes the annual Holiday Train, which is a decorated CTA fleet. New in 2014 is a Holiday Bus (via CTA Tattler):
The CTA Holiday Train is a longtime and beloved tradition for commuters and families alike. There's really nothing quite like the surprise on people's faces when the Holiday Train comes rolling into the station.
Now the CTA wants to spread good cheer on Chicago bus routes with the Holiday Bus, guided by the red nose of "Ralphie the Reindeer." (It appears Rudolph didn't want to make the appearance.) A 60-foot bus will be bedecked with multicolored lights, holiday-themed seating, candy-cane striping, artwork created by students from Mahalia Jackson Elementary and elves on board handing out candy canes to all the good boys and girls.
The bus will be running on a variety of routes that go through the Sloop (check out full schedule here):
