South Loop Adds a Net +41 New Businesses in 2013

As we close the final chapter of 2013, we wanted to wrap up the year with a final post on our annual business tracker.  This is the second year of the Sloopin business tracker and while we're not statisticians we're pretty confident that the trend in the Sloop is that more and more retail businesses are opening in the South Loop.

In 2012 we recorded a net of 25 new businesses opening in the South Loop.  In 2013 that number increased to a net +40 new businesses opening in the neighborhood.  This was led by The Shops at Roosevelt Collection adding 9 new businesses this year.
