I was walking today and noticed a building permit in the southernmost storefront in the Burnham Pointe building on Polk and Clark. The permit says it is for a first time restaurant build out - any idea what it may be?
Thanks! We aren't sure, we did some searching but didn't have much luck. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

I did some digging on the city of Chicago website. The permit was issued to:

It's a Thai name, although that means approximately nothing. I googled the name and found very little.
It's going to be a sushi restaurant. Hopefully a good one since we already have enough mediocre Asian eateries in the area.
You can see a floorplan of that retail space here (PDF): http://www.loopnet.com/Attachments/0/D/F/0DF7A31E-00DB-4B48-BC23-4F9C6D4C2D3C.pdf
It's on the bottom-right, labeled "Retail 0115". I'm not sure that's enough square-footage for anything other than take-out. Sushi sounds possible.
According to city inspection records, it is called Umai.
