Places in Time: Chicago from Chris Pritchard on Vimeo.
Obviously this encapsulates shots from around the whole city, but there are some great Shots Around the Sloop:
- 0:45 - View from Museum Campus (Planetarium)
- 1:35 - Bike the Drive from McCormick Place (facing North)
- 1:42 - Roosevelt El Stop (facing East)
- 2:10 - View from Museum Campus as Night Comes (Planetarium)
- 2:44 - Dearborn Park II (facing North)
Out of habit, I read the title of this article in Yoda's voice. I was then disappointed that the video did not show someone raising an X-wing fighter out of the Lincoln Park Lagoon.
ReplyDeleteoh boy look...pictures of the city i live in. how wonder ful...

(new)Velvet Lounge Grand opening is tonight...I sent Sloopy an email, maybe it will get posted.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing beautiful about the traffic, crime and government corruption and incompetence of Chicago...
ReplyDeleteAside from those massive glaring problems it is ok to visit here.
I stopped by Velvet Lounge last week and it is a nice late night spot now. Only place in South Loop currently to go hear dj music, Country music (on Tuesday's I think) and live music to go dance or just chill and grab a drink without being a club.
ReplyDeletewhy is everyone so angry and depressing? please cheer up!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!! Chicago is of one of the greatest cities in the FREE world! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteEven more amazing is how great this city is spite the fact of gang problems, government & union corruption.
Very pretty :) Thanks for posting. I love to watch the buildings in different lights and the activity of a city.
