Can you guys do a post on Forever Yogurt opening up in the South Loop? I don't know where it will be or when but, their website says coming soon. Hopefully you have the connections to find out!!Forever Yogurt is by far the best yogurt I've ever had...I'm VERY excited they are putting one in our neighborhood and I hope we can get some publicity on it so that people will go to it. There is one that I go to now on Chicago (I think Chicago and Wabash'ish). The red velvet is the best, but mom's cake batter is amazing too!
I went to Yogen Fruz last night at State and Van Buren with a friend after dinner and it was so expensive!! It was $7.50 for a medium cup. At least at Forever you can get your own, they weigh it, you can put whatever toppings you want on it. I don't think I've ever paid more than $4.50 for my cup and I like to put a lot of yogurt in it.
This is great news! Does anyone have the scoop on where this might be going in?

The ratio of "coming soon" to "open" doesn't make me think it will be anytime soon.
It's going to be a while. They signed a lease for space in the food court of the upcoming east-west university building just north of 9th and wabash
I miss Ice Cream. Just good old Ice Cream. All this tart yogurt stuff is disgusting.
ice cream is very fattening and one of the many reasons we as society have to now worry about diabetes as a nation-wide epidemic
lay off the fats and oils and eat lean, fat butts!

Forever Yogurt is amazing - I agree, that tart yogurt is just gross. As a pregnant lady in the South Loop, I can guarantee I would frequent FY on a daily basis!!
I'd be excited about a frozen yoghurt place in the South Loop. Made good experiences with Forever Yoghurt and would definitely visit them every now and then. Yummy!
(And FitGuy, enjoying some ice cream in moderation is not a problem as such. It's just the over-consumption of unhealthy foods - which is a society problem though, I agree.)
There is some sort of build out happening in one of the stores fronts in the "1305 Michigan building" between the State Farm Insurance and cleaners.
Square One is opening on May 11th and the soft opening actually will start the 8th of May according to my building
