A man was found shot at a South Loop “L” station this evening, police said.Details appear to be hazy, but the victim might have been shot on a train and got off at the Roosevelt stop:
A 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in the upper torso in the attack in the 1100 block of South State Street about 7 p.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
An earlier report indicated police said the victim may have been shot on an "L" train, but that information came from one person who identified himself as a witness but declined to be identified, and the information could not be verified with police.Once we read more we will update this post.
