According to their website, the new froyo spot Kingoberry opened last Monday (11/15). As a reminder it's at 555 S. Dearborn in Printer's Row. If anyone has been, we would love to hear your thoughts.
I have walked by, and it's always empty. Just one person at the counter. I would have preferred a REAL Ice Cream shop. Enough with all the yogurt already!
Also, the image you have posted, and the real entrance are actually on Plymouth.
I split my time between the city and suburbs, and the exact same thing happened in Crystal Lake. Just recently a yogurt place called Yumz opened. Thought it was a strange time to be opening, but I guess sometimes things just work out that way.
Kingoberry is located in the "back" of Pockets, but has a seperate entrance on Plymouth. You can also walk through Pockets from it's Dearborn entrance.
I thought the yougurt was fine... but, not unlike Pockets, expensive for what it was IMHO.

Entrance is on Federal.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous #1 is right, the entrance is on Plymouth.
ReplyDeletetough time to open a yogurt shop. maybe it will be a hit in the summer.
ReplyDeleteAgree with last anon! What a dumb move in this economy to open a frozen yogurt stand just in time for the frozen months of winter!
