Although Millennium Park isn't in the Sloop it's still close enough to enjoy the free summer concerts. Here is a list of some of the upcoming free concerts (and more background via the Chicagoist):

I was there. It was fantastic to see Hum back together. The last time I saw them was at Kalamazoo's Club Soda in 1998.
They played an unbelievable show. 90 minute set. It was better than most shows that I've paid a lot of money to see.
If you're not familiar with Hum you should give them a listen. Downward is Heavenward is one of the best albums of the 90's that nobody knows about.
My wife was kicked out of Millenium Park for bring a dog though. Wish I had known the rules ahead of time.
On June 14 Tony Allen and his band will also be playing an after Mil Park show at The Shrine in the South Loop!
