The Chicago World Music Festival started this past Friday, but continues through Thursday at various spots across the city. Within the Sloop, Columbia College's Conway Center (1103 S. Wabash) is hosting two free concerts for the festival. The Marta Gomez Quartet plays this Tuesday (9/22) at 7pm and Vlada Tomova's Balkan Tales (9/23) plays on Wednesday at 7pm.Each link above has background and samples of their work. Enjoy!
