Okay, I'm going to come out of the closet.... I enjoy Segway tours. We did an evening one in Paris and loved it. When we came to Chicago for a visit last 4th of July, we couldn't resist another.
Of course, now that I live here, I do get a little annoyed by all of the tours in Grant Park. My dogs are incredibly confused by the Segways.

I will concede that they do look like they could be fun...but I also think they look silly.
As they saying goes, "don't knock it until you try it"...unfortunately for me I’ve never tried it and I can't resist the hate.
They're definitely a good tourist thing and probably fun, but I still find them funny.
